The Sunshine Valley Solar One facility is located in Nye County, Nevada, approximately 101 miles northwest of Las Vegas. This facility has a designed lifespan of 25 years and will produce approximately 302,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity per year, enough to meet the needs of around 23,000 average homes annually. It is also expected to displace approximately 178,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is the equivalent of taking around 26,000 cars off the road.
